RO ANTISCALANT For RO Plant

Scaling is caused in membranes because the level of hardness salts in the water becomes highly concentrated as it passes through the RO unit. In smaller units scale formation can be prevented by base exchange softening the make-up water but for larger systems that is very expensive. We have developed a range of easy to handle, cost effective RO Antiscalant which increase the solubility of the hardness salts so they remain in solution rather than forming scale on the membrane. Our cost effective RO antiscalants will inhibit a wide range of foulants including: calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, strontium sulphate, calcium fluoride, silica and iron.

RO Antiscalants are dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line (after pretreatment) at the recommended dosage of 1-3 mg/L and maximum dosage at 8mg/L, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content. Maximum dilution should be 10% with RO or DI water for temperature less than 30 deg C. For higher temperature the dilution ratio can increase.

Our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is a super-threshold RO membrane antiscalant and antifoulant which is able to stabilize a wide range of supersaturated salt solutions, thereby preventing the precipitation on the membrane surface.

It reduces the risk of scaling and eliminates the use of hazardous acids,resulting in efficient plant operation with highest possible conversion rate.

It is a very effective antiscalant . It is also compatible with ALSTAFLOC series of coagulant and flocculants (polyelectrolytes). Our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is effective in minimizing scaling in presence of foulants like Calcium Carbonate, Sulfate salts of Calcium, Barium, Strontium and Magnesium, Calcium Fluoride, Iron and Silica.

Application and Dosage
Our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line (after pretreatment) at the minimum recommended dosage of 1ppm and maximum dosage at 15ppm, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content.

In case of high iron content of about 0.5 to 1.0ppm, the dosing has to be increased by 10-15ppm for stabilizing Calcium.

At about 10-15ppm dosage our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is capable of fully inhibiting iron and calcium, and silica up to 166ppm. For higher silica content RXSOL ANTISCALANT should be used.

Lime removal from Metal Surface is a very tricky job for a person who knows chemistry.  Our expertisation in marine chemicals field since 1995 has given us the opportunity to solve such cleaning specially LIME deposition from ship hold metal surface. In general uses of direct acid can also dissolve Lime, but on the other hand ACID badly damages the metal surface which is the strength of the ship. And damage of metal parts costs a lot during ship maintenance process.

In market every one asks for low cost cleaning materials, but they suppose to realise these maintenance cost of ship due to use of harash chemicals supplied by non qualified supplier.  RXSOL brand always keeps such things on prior list. For example if Iron parts come in contact with Hydrochloric Acid, HCl immediately starts ionic change in Iron particle which can be practically seen as formation of RUST, but when HCl is mixed with proper corrosion inhibitor Ionic change can be controlled which means that damage towards metal parts can be controlled.  So the question that arises is how much percentage of corrosion inhibitor is required for HCl to control such unwanted chemical reaction, Here the answer is this can be obtained by expert in LAB and experience, which can cost more to customer than other supplier of chemicals who doesn't want to care for your precious metals.

Simillarly same question comes in case of oxalic acid, citric acid, sulfamic acid and other chemical which contains chlorine ( sodium hypochlorite, Muriatic Acid etc ).  Direct uses of chemicals is not a good decission for ships and other industries.  Blend of experience and knowledge always costs you less in part of control of damage.

The evaporator is the source of the usable water on a ship, outside of that taken aboard and carried in fresh water tanks. It's essential that the evaporator functions properly in order to ensure high purity water for the ship's use.
In the production of Distilled Water in seawater evaporators, there are many conditions which can cause the formation of scaling. In the evaporator, the seawater is heated to the required temperature and is then partially evaporated at atmospheric or low pressure; it then condenses and is collected as distillate. Since, the seawater contains large quantities of salt in solution it is understandable that the heating and evaporation will very rapidly lead to scaling of the heat transfer surfaces. The scale deposits build up and lower plant efficiency by severely impairing the transfer of heat and also lead to corrosion of equipment. This in turn considerably reduces the output. If not properly maintained and cleaned, scale deposits will form. So to prevent the Scaling in seawater evaporator the Ameroyal ( Evaporator Treatment ) is used.
